How we made our Beni Mrirt rugs ? Our beni Mrirt rugs are the best on the market. We ensure the use of high quality wool & natural pigments at each stage of the production process. The wool of our rugs comes only from the Middle Atlas region. The natural environment & the climate of the region in which the sheep are bred allows to obtain a silky & high quality wool. A pure pleasure for your feet :) CREATION : The manufacturing process of the Beni Mrirt rug is long & complex. Indeed, the weavers first prepare the loom. Then comes the weaving stage, a stage made up of simple but repetitive gestures. Each woolen thread cut beforehand is knotted one by one by hand. The work is both long & meticulous, it requires rigor & patience. When creating patterns with shapes & colors, the weavers reproduce the design imagined during the creation process. Finally, when the rug is woven, it must be washed & dried at least twice in order to solidify the wool & make it resistant. The famous Beni Mrirt rug with its abstract design matches all interior styles, bohemian, modern, Scandinavian, traditional, or minimalist.
