READY TO POST A set of 4 handmade cottage Christmas Tree decorations - Nautical Blue Whenever I'm at the beach at home or abroad I always collect little bits of driftwood & tiny interesting pebbles & shells. This set of 4 little hanging cottages are made from some timber scraps & driftwood. I love driftwood & it works so well with distressed chalk paint. Each one I make is completely different to the next which makes each piece unique. The body of each cottage measures 3cm tall & each cottage has a different driftwood roof which makes it taller. Each one is of a varied thickness of wood. I have used some reclaimed timber for the 4 cottages & painted with nautical blue chalk paint & lightly distressed. The roof of the cottage & door are made from a shaped piece of driftwood. The roof has a chimney made from a nail. There is a small hook attached to each roof that has been strung with some natural jute string for hanging. They have been placed inside a cellophane bag & tied with jute & a label.
