Description
A small George III sterling silver tea caddy spoon with clear hallmarks for 1829. From an era when tea drinking was popular but also very expensive! For this period this particular spoon has been finely made & is delicate, not the usual fairly heavy type more associated with this era. in good antique, historical condition it has some tiny dings on its bowl which is of an oval shape with a small fan-like handle, & some signs of surface scratching natural for a utensil of its kind & age. On the reverse of the handle where the hallmark can be seen there is also another stamp possibly the makers mark which has been rubbed & is not completely legible but I believe it to be JS. It measures 58.2mm in length, the bowl has a width of 32mm & a depth of 7.2mm Weight: 5.56 grams Wrapped & boxed in clean recycled packaging this item is ready for immediate dispatch. Please check all the details, photos & measurements given as these are part of the description. If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to contact us. We're happy to help.
