The raven has been a mysterious figure in mythology, often misunderstood & maligned. These intelligent, beautiful birds were suffering a decline in the UK, & I never had seen one in my life until seeing a pair in flight on the remote Island of Colonsay. Happily, however, the raven has rebounded, & there are now a pair of them making a home not far from where I live. This unique watercolour style design is based on my pictures of one of the pair flying across inbetween flights to feed its chicks. This is a standard sized 330ml/ 11oz ceramic mug, 9.5cm / 3.7 tall & 8cm/ 3.15 in diameter, & is dishwasher & microwave safe. There is also a crow mug, scarf & t-shirt available on my store.
