Kantha Throw - Raspberry Red on Zebra print. Reverse Reds, Greens, Turquoise & Ochre - Unique, one of a kind. A fun & colourful reversible kantha throw to brighten up any comfy chair or sofa or decorate a bed. On one side raspberry red roses are scattered over a zebra print, bordered by giant roses. Stitched to the other side in neat rows of running stitch, are two saris, one features orange giant flowers on red with broad brushes of jade green. The other half features turquoise & red roses with splashes of ochre trees & spots & swirls on a black background. Guaranteed to brighten up the drabbest of days! Small tear on edge & some discolouration due to age. 162 cm x 250 cm (64 inches x 98.5 inches) 100% cotton. Machine washable at 30c. Kantha is a traditional method of sewing together layers of cotton saris using a simple running stitch called 'Kantha'. This age old method of recycling originated in Bangladesh & was an excellent way of creating quilts from pre-existing fabric. Each piece is completely unique with a different colour way & design on the reverse allowing a different look for your room depending on which side is shown.
