Lefton Small Fruit Pedestal Compote/Plate/Bowl with reticulated gold trimmed rim. No. 6285. Light muted green. Hand-painted fruits. White gold trimmed pedestal. Top is light muted green. Features a pear, apple, peach, grapes & cherries nestled in golden & green leaves. The colors are rich & bright. It has a white pedestal base ringed in gold. The pedestal is removable & is mounted to the top with a screw-type connection. With the pedestal attached it makes a beautiful fruit/nut bowl. When the pedestal is removed, it is a plate, shallow bowl or serving dish. Vintage 80's. Bowl/Plate measures 7 diameter x 1 depth. With pedestal attached it is 4T. Bottom of plate has printed Lefton China Crown Hand Painted 6285. The red Lefton Exclusives Japan sticker is attached. The cork circle holding the pedestal is fragile & chipped on one side. No other flaws noted but check photos closely. This lovely dish is so versatile that you can choose how to use. Maybe a fruit, candy, nut bowl, serving plate? You decide!
