Back before pumpkins became popular, in my home in North East Scotland we would carve Jack o Lanterns from Neeps (turnips or Swedes) for Halloween. Traditionally they would be liberated from the farmers fields but I won't encourage that behaviour! It is my goal to bring them back! So I have created this handmade pendant in bronze or sterling silver. If you want this in other materials such as gold check our website or ask for a quote! We are always open to alter & change any of our pieces to suit your tastes. in the listing the piece might look darker than the finished piece. We artificially darken our silver pieces with liver of sulfur so that the details will show up in photographs but as standard the finished piece will be shiny & polished. If you'd prefer us to darken it then please let us know & we will happily do this for you. This has been carved by myself from wax & then cast in high quality by Jewellery Casting Scotland & finished with a mixture of power tools & traditional hand tools like files & saws.
