This artwork was created to honour all those whose lives have been affected by cancer. One in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer. On average, 5 Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people are diagnosed with cancer every day; & are approximately 40% more likely to die from cancer than non-Indigenous Australians. The 27th August is the Cancer Council National Daffofil Day, which raises awareness & funds to accelerate research in cancer prevention, screening & treatment, bringing us closer to a cancer free future. $5 from every Mirii Art Daffodil Day Print purchase will be donated to the Cancer Council. The unframed & unmatted print will carefully packaged in a plastic protective sleeve. The smaller sizes will be sent flat in the sturdy rigid mailer, & larger prints will be sent rolled up in a mailing tube. This print comes in standard & deluxe editions. Standard - 255gsm lustre photo paper with a pearlescent (semi gloss) finish Deluxe - 310gsm fine art paper with slightly textured matte finish Printed locally in the Sutherland Shire.
