This is a sturdy ceramic tile measuring 11x11cm, featuring my design of Lindisfarne castle, on the tidal island of Lindisfarne, or Holy Island, Northumberland. The print itself is a linocut print, over which I collaged monoprint sections. This is a technique I have been using more & more in my work. The colour scheme is bright & bold, with blues, oranges & greens. This Lindisfarne coaster works well paired with my Bamburgh linocut collage coaster, which is similar in style & colour - see separate listing. The coaster is backed in cork to prevent it from scratching your surface. I have my coasters made locally, in Whitley Bay, & they are of great quality - they will last years & years!
