This artwork is one nautical & seaside nursery set of 1 traditional wood carving hand painted sailboat & 2 flying wooden white seagulls. A unique sailing ship with 2 ethereal birds for a refreshing seaside decoration. t is ready to be placed over your fireplace mantel, at your office, at your living's room or wherever you think it fits! It is also a unique personalized symbilic gift for a lover of the sea & birds. Well, if you're great love is the sea but the conditions of your life do not allow you to enjoy it every day, you can create a seascape to bring the feeling of nature & the sea to your home, through my art. This traditional Greek sailboat together with two seagulls is a wonderful option! Everything is completely handmade. The main vessel is made of wood, along with pieces of twine, which is also used for the sail ropes. Wood has been cut completely handmade to form the boat shape. It is cut & carved in hand creating a bas-relief surface. Then it is painted realistically with acrylic paints for to look old & used, & rusty metals & metal chain have been added. The mast of ship is made of wood & rope .The sail is made of cotton fabric. Also the fabric of the sail of the ship is impregnated with hardener to stay safe, hard, & unchanged forever. The fabric has a beige color but I have treated it with brown color so that it has the feeling of being used, i.e. of multi-traveled. Also the fabric of the sail will be the same, but the pattern of the sail is random. But the result will be just as beautiful & impressive. I promise! I do my best to create the artwork just as you see it in the photo. Please keep in mind that due to the nature of the handmade artifacts there may be minor, subtle differences in color or shape, which are inevitable & may not even be perceived. Each completely handmade artwork, however, is almost unique! After all, this is its beauty & its value! The boat was made to be mounted on the wall from a rope loop that is in the upper part of the mast. It measures, width 34cm. (13.38inches) & height 58cm (22.83 inches).The chain is 40 cm. (15.74 inches). Weight: 650g. It is also signed at the back. In this ''summery'' theme, two realistic, white, wood carving, painted seagulls complement the result. I created a series of wooden seagulls so realistic that can make you hear the splash of the waves simply by looking at them. This seagulls are made of wood. They are cut & carved in hand creating a bas-relief surface. They are also painted realistically with acrylic paints. Unfortunately, they are not resistant to sea water!
