This listing, is for a lovely, white & floral, lidded Serving bowl. The dish is oval, with scalloped edges, & gold trim. It is hand painted, with an attractive floral detail . It is really difficult, to read the back stamps, even with a magnifying glass, however, I believe it to be more than 100 hundred years old. The serving dish is made of fine china. It has an etched back stamp, & has a design, & shape that leads me to believe It is antique. It is in very good antique condition, but does have some fine crazing , on the lid. There is also some loss of the gold gilding, on the handles, & rim of the bowl, which is consistent with age. The flowers have retained their colour, & have pretty pastel hues. The inside of the lid has some staining around the edges, which you can see in photo 8. There are also a few little dimples in the china , on the base of the bowl. The lid has a brown numbered mark inside, ? 8090YA. I have tried to detail all the tiny little flaws well , but feel free to contact me for more questions. It is a lovely piece but has had a previous life. Thank you for visiting my shop! Measurements; 4 1/2 inches from base to tip of lid. length is 10 1/2 inches , width is 5 1/2 inches.
