The BRITTANY PREMIER is a start of a new range of wood & concrete tables being introduced to the market place. This table has been a labour of love mixing traditional & contemporary materials to produce a visual image that is quite striking, yet is very tactile to touch. The oak is reclaimed with marks of age & wear, that contrasts very nicely indeed with the hand polished concrete that the oak frames. The concrete reveals the aggregates used in the concrete mix. The finished table top now homogonised into a single piece so that it would be impossible to separate without causing irrepairable damage. Finished with a quality hand applied wax to give the feel of luxury. The centre is also polished oak lowered for aesthetics but also helps stop items being knocked off, such as candles or flowers. The legs are 12mm steel 3 prong hairpin, adding to the contemporary or industrial look. This table definitely isn't available on the highstreet, it is original & a first. The top is 5cm thick approx, so is quite heavy & sturdy. Due to the various processes this table goes through there's a longer delivery period.
