This is a very special small double light sconce gothic mirror made with beautiful genuine old antique plate glass. The glass was discovered in a local barn where it had sat for many years. The glass has aged in a way only time & nature can produce. The silvering has peeled & degraded over a period of who knows how many years! This kind of genuine patina is exceptionally hard to find, many companies produce faux antique glass, but this cannot be compared to the beauty of natural ageing. Looking deep into the glass you can also see faint waves where the glass was originally bonded to the silvering, truly wonderful. This mirror will never be produced again, finding old glass like this is very rare. There is only one of these,making it truly special & unique. The glass gives the feeling of days gone by suiting our frames to perfection. The frame looks & feels like real stone & it is backed with baize & is ready to hang with cord.
