This is a stunning cushion cover handmade from vintage hand stitched Kantha quilt. The fabric is wonderfully soft & will make the ideal finish to any sofa or bed. It is handmade to the highest quality. We only use YKK zips with all our products. Every Kantha Quilt is one of kind, we make a small handful of cushions from each quilt meaning every cushion will be completely unique. Due to this colours/ designs can vary slightly. Some have signs of wear exposing the stunning layers below while others have patches/small stains, adding additional charm & individuality. What is Kantha? Kantha quilts are made using numerous layers of recycled silk or cotton saris which are hand stitched in the traditional Bengal style called Kantha. What originated as a cost effect way to produce warm blankets has developed over the years into a beautiful art form, creating truly unique one off designs.
