An antique oak wood stool, 19th century, Arts & Crafts, Victorian. Beautiful ornate & finely hand carved wooden top with scrolls & foliate details. Turned nicely shaped bobbin legs with central bobbin stretcher. Lovely rich warm patina. Country, rustic with a touch of grandeur! Measures -length 12 inches, width 8.5 inches, height 9.5 inches. A unique & well crafted item, could continue its useful life as a footstool, step stool, milking stool, plant stand etc, or it could just sit & be admired for its age & beauty! Condition: Very good. Sturdy & strong. A few minor scratches which I believe add to its charm. The top section has bowed very sightly leaving a tiny gap over the legs. Still a strong, sturdy piece.
