This is my first soft-shade from what I hope will be a new line of lampshades! Made in a beautiful pale blue green fabric, with beautifully matched trim in dusky pink. I have lined this shade in the traditional authentic panelled balloon lining, by hand, & the whole lampshade took me about 14 hours to make. This shade is designed to be used with an LED lightbulb, which, due to its low wattage, preserves the fabric for many happy years to come, & ensures this heirloom piece stays as beautiful as the day it was made. The shade measures: 25cm (10 inches) tall 31cm diameter (side to side) which is 12 inches wide The fitting inside can be spun round to adapt to either a ceiling fitting, or a lamp base fitting. The fitting has a small spacer disc inside it, which can be popped in or out, depending on the size of your lamp or ceiling pendant. This is a one-off unique shade, of which I have only made one.
