stunning vintage Liberty of London cushion panel, this is a really exciting find it is an unused/unsewn cushion panel, it is heavily embroidered with a majestic looking peacock in the grounds of somewhere grand, the colours are bright & vibrant, It was originally for sale in the iconic Liberty of London it still has the original sales tag on with a price of 10/6 this dates it likely to the 1960s as the UK decimal money system came into place in 1971. This is a superb find it feels luxurious & would be fantastic for it to be finally made up into a cushion , it would be a statement piece wherever it was placed, This is a rare item I have not found another similar one in all my research It is in excellent condition & must have been stored carefully for the past 50 years!
