NOTICE: this mug is not yet vintage. I publish it for Moomin collectors & lovers, who have no other way to get this mug. I suppose that Arabia has published these about ten different pattern large (40 cl) size mugs in few last years. Most of them base on the same pictures as the first 0.3 liters mugs from the nineties. in this case, on the last picture appears that original Rose Strip mug, which was the third produced mug. Those pictures on the mugs are taken from Tove Jansson's strip Moomintroll Falls in Love, published in 1956. It is a story where Moomintroll falls in love with primadonna (not Snork Maiden). Moomintroll plays the main role in the Moomin stories, & he was also the first character that was created by Tove Jansson. Moomitroll lives in the Moomin house together with his father Moominpappa & his mother Moominmamma. Just as his father, Moomintroll likes of adventures. On the other hand he likes comfort, & after every adventure he comes back to home. It is said that Moomintroll has romantic feelings to Snork Maiden. At least they are good friends - almost like a brother & a sister. in my opinion Snork Maiden seems to be more keen on Moomintroll than Moomintroll on Snork Maiden.
