Teema model is a classic designed by Kaj Franck. Teema series mugs have been produced with tens or even hundreds of different patterns during the decades. Kaj Franck designed first Kilta series items in the end of the forties. in the seventies he made some changes to dishes, & the series was renamed to Teema. Original Kilta/Teema series items were plain without decorations. I suppose that Teema mug was designed later than other Kilta/Teema dishes, probably in the eighties. Early Teema mugs were made by Arabia Finland in the eighties. Later, after company arrangements they were produced under Iittala trademark with Iittala stamp. Here is available a sample of four Teema mugs with distinct patterns, made by Arabia Finland/Iittala. Dimensions Teema Height 80 mm Diameter 80 mm Volume 25 cl Weight 240 g, for four mugs 960 g Material: vitreous porcelain These mugs are in excellent/excellent vintage condition. Some of them are slightly used: tiny & slight scratches may be seen on the surfaces, but not on the first sight. Some of them look like unused. The price is for four mugs. On the first picture the upper mug is from the collectible Xmas series. It is named Pikkukide: small crystal in English. This mug has a small chip on the edge of the surface & bottom (last picture).
