Large Antique Czech glass candy cane Christmas ornament 8.25. With internal mercury glass & applied external color. Made in the 1930's, this is a rare ornament. With the later addition of a gold tone bead hanger. This can be hung by either the hanger or with cotton attached to the loop. This is difficult to photograph & i apologise for the busy background. in original condition with some wear to the color. Size: 8.25 inches Czech glass Christmas tree ornaments are considered some of the best in the world. Beautifully hand painted & made with fine, high quality glass compared to the thicker glass of some other Eastern countries. As with any vintage ornament, these are sold as used with signs of use.
