NOW SOLD 15/9/2020 PLEASE NOTE! SHIPPING IS NOT FREE! please contact me for a courier quote. A very fine Victorian carved mahogany mirrorback chiffonier in absolutely superb condition. All the mirrors, cabinet doors & internal glass shelf are unmarked, showing the most minimal signs of ageing. The drawer runs smoothly, all surfaces are lustrous. The piece has been cared for exceptionally well with a proper polish twice a year. Lots of attractive carved details, ornate brass handles (original), working key, original backing, no woodworm. There is a pencil signature in the drawer. There are various small marks commensurate to age. Very sturdy & solid, the mirror unscrews for ease of sending. Height 200 cms Width 132 cms. Depth 34 cms.
