Its an old rug woven with wool, on a wool foundation & has a floppy handle. The pattern you see are very common amongst these woven rugs. The octagonal elements you see throughout are actually elephant footprints. It was hand knotted by the nomadic tribe with natural resources used to dye the wool (veggies, fruits, plants, flowers). Please see pics for full character & condition as this has some tiny, old repairs & has been given love through time to keep its integrity.
