- Authentic 60s Heals cotton fabric: April Shower by Nicola Wood - Cover only - available in one size: to fit a 50cm/20 cushion inner - design may vary from photo - backed in a plain off-white/natural coloured cotton fabric - overlocked seams & concealed zip - hand wash Cushion cover in a stunning abstract fabric called April Shower by Nicola Wood for Heals. Nicola was one of the best known textile designers working for Heals in the 60s & her work continues to be sought after (she now resides in the USA & is a very successful automobile artist!) The design is in orange with soft shades of yellow, purple & green & is printed on a cotton weave which is in good condition for its age. This cushion would look great on its own or you could team with other Nicola Wood fabrics (I currently have a few available). The covers are backed with a natural/off-white cotton & have a concealed zip at the bottom. All seams are overlocked for strength & durability. please note The sizes stated are for the required cushion pad (not included) & the covers themselves are 2-3cm smaller to ensure a snug fit. So for example, if you select the 45 x 45cm/18 x 18 option, the cover you get will be 2-3cm smaller than this. Care instructions: I would recommend professional cleaning or gentle hand wash. All cushion covers are hand made by myself using contemporary & vintage fabrics. I tend to buy smaller pieces of fabric so only a small amount of cushion covers will be available in each design.
