- authentic vintage barkcloth fabric dating from the 60s - some considerable fade to fabric - backed with a natural coloured cotton fabric - concealed zip & overlocked seams - gentle hand wash - cover only - cover may differ from photo Beautiful vintage barkcloth cushion cover in a stunning geometric/abstract design dating from the 60s or earlier. The fabric is in shades of red, orange & black & there is quite a bit of fade to the fabric. However, I think it looks amazing, especially teamed with other barkcloth covers from the same era (the ones in the photos are all available to buy) The covers are backed with an off white cotton fabric with a concealed zip at the bottom & all seams are overlocked for strength & durability. please note The sizes stated are for the required cushion pad (not included) & the covers themselves are 2-3cm smaller to ensure a snug fit. So for example, if you select the 45 x 45cm/18 x 18 option, the cover you get will be 2-3cm smaller than this. Care instructions: I would recommend professional cleaning or gentle hand wash. All cushion covers are hand made by myself using contemporary & vintage fabrics. I tend to buy smaller pieces of fabric so only a small amount of cushion covers will be available in each design.
