This incredible Wall Lamp/ Sconce is not only a fully functional lamp but also a stunning piece of wall art. This is a great looking lamp has an amazing industrial look & its proportioned very well. The wood for this lamp came from beams that we recovered from an old Lancashire barn. They have fantastic patina to them, which we have brought to life by lightly sanding & waxing with a quality wax. The gauge we have used is a genuine vintage 4" Brass pressure gauge. This was lightly cleaned & has great patina. (Please note the gauge face may be different to the one pictured as this depends on what gauges we have in stock when your lamp is built). The lamp is fitted with an antique style light fitting which has been professionally wired with period vintage style braided cable. The Lamp is available with either a 1.5 metre cord & inline switch, or with 150mm of wire so it can be wired directly into your wall lighting ring. (we recommend that you use a qualified electrician to do this) We have used a vintage wire cage on the lamp. These may have marks & twists in them. We don’t try & restore these as we prefer to keep them original. We have fitted a smoked Edison vintage style globe Incandescent bulb. The soft white light from this bulb brings out all the colours of the lamp. The metal parts of the lamp have had 3 coats of clear lacquer applied to them. This will maintain their industrial look for years to come. This is not just beautiful lamp but a great piece of art that is guaranteed to be a conversation piece!
