This Christmas cookie advent wall hanging is 18 x 25 inches a perfect addition to your holiday decorations & family traditions. The Gingerbread Cookie Advent Calendar can be used either by taking a cookie ornament from the bowl each day & inserting it into the numbered pockets or on Dec. 1st you can insert all cookie ornaments in numbered pockets & add a cookie ornament to the bowl each day. If you choose you can also add a small gift, candy or coins to each pocket to suprise the kids daily. The top half of Cookie calendar is quilted in a meandering pattern on a long arm quilting machine. The 24 individual pockets are 2.5 inches wide & 1.25 inches deep. The pockets are stitched through all three layers which give them extra strength. The calendar is bound with a deep red 100% cotton quilting fabric & is machine sewn which adds to the durability of the calendar. The ornaments are backed with felt & stitched on outside edge to prevent any fraying over the years of use. The back of wall hanging is a high quality white muslin fabric. The ornaments are shipped in an organza bag for storing. No glue has been used in any part of this advent calendar. The wall hanging has Triangle Pockets. There are 2 triangle pockets attached to each corner of wall hanging which on top gives a place for a small dowel or yard stick to be inserted. A $5 up charge for hanging stick if you want stick to be included option available at checkout. Then attach 3 M command picture hanging strips (as seen in PHOTO 10) to stick & wall. If using 3 M hangers, you will have no nail holes or damage to walls. You can also use a small nail for dowel to hang on.
