A charming 8x10 inch poster, printed from my original illustration Birch Syrup. A lovely gift for a pancake-eating, forest-dwelling friend or family member. 16 pt cardstock, matte finish with a slight luster. Can be pinned on your wall or framed. The days get warmer, & the still-frozen forest floor trickles with streams of slowly melting snow. The birch, too, releases a sweet trickle of juice, & spring is well on its way to wake us up from our sleepy winter. They say that the birch is a symbol of new beginnings then perhaps its syrup offers us the gentle strength to go through change & welcome regeneration. The process: The posters were printed in a local print shop, using my original illustration. The original illustration was drawn with an ink pen & watercolor colored pencil on watercolour paper.
