Wall Art title : 3 Levels A piece constructed from intersecting, arching shapes. There is no back board to this piece the shards of colour overlap & adhere to one another at their contact points. The art is quite minimalist in that space is within the piece & surrounding it, framing such a work is a distraction & unessential. The material I've used is baltic birch ply built up in three layers, this brings the 3d sculptural element I was searching for on this piece to the fore. _______________________________ This piece measures: Height: 36 inches (91cm) Width: 40 inches (102cm) Depth: 1 inch (2.5cm) One recessed keyhole slot is installed on the back so the piece is ready to hang. The keyhole hanging method also allows the piece to hang flush & very secure to the wall. I've hand pyrographed (fire writing) the piece on the back with the date & signature, along with the BigFab stamp of authenticity burnt in. The artwork will be shipped in a tailor made wood crate.
