Mid-century ceramic table lamp (circa 1950s) by Jacques Blin. This diminutive pink-hued French lamp (c. 1950s) with sgraffito-etched leaves is in very good overall condition. This size makes this a perfect bedside table lamp with plenty of style. Highly collectible. The shade is not included. Re-wired for UK use. Signed on the underside: 'J. Blin'. Upon request a video of the piece will be provided. About the Artist: Jacques Blin (1920-1995), an engineer by trade but with a love for the visual arts. Blin has an immediately recognisable style characterised by a more or less misty appearance of the glaze & by decoration deeply marked in the raw clay, a method he used throughout his career. He frequently depicted fanciful birds, primitive animals, stylised figures, plant life & whimsical abstract motifs in his works.
