1980s Vintage St Michael Edwardian Lady Double Duvet Cover Two Pillowcases Reversible Country Diary Frilled Edge Polycotton Fabric Craft We love the Country Diary range by St Michael dating back to the late 1970s/early 1980s. We remember there were so many items for sale in this design based on the best-selling book The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden. This Bedding Set would really retro-up your bedroom or, alternatively, there's plenty of fabric for use in crafting, should you so wish. This is a very pretty Double Duvet Cover in the Edwardian Lady range produced in the 1980s. The design is so feminine with handpainted flowers & leaves in pale pinks & greens on a cream background. One one side, the pattern forms a pretty rectangular shaped border which is repeated three times. On the reverse, the design fills the Duvet Cover. Around the edge is a pretty frill which has a green edging. This is also repeated on the Pillowcases. The Duvet Cover has press studs at the end to close. The fabric is 50% Cotton/50% Polyester. The Duvet Cover measures 78 x 78 (198 x 198cm) & the Pillowcases, 19 x 29 (48.5 x 74cm). All have the original St Michael labels. The Bedding Set is very good pre-loved condition. There is one small blue pen mark at the end of the Duvet Cover. This is mostly hidden when the Duvet Cover is closed. One of the Pillow Cases is slightly creamier in colour than the other.
