A hand forged fireplace poker for open fires, inglenooks or stoves. Double twisted handle with a log roller spike & pointed taper. The poker is hand forged & double twisted while hot with a gently tapering open 'eye' at one end & a tapered point, incorporating a log roller for raking embers or moving logs around in the fire, at the opposite end. Measures approximately 480-500mm in length. Clearcoat finish. All of my items are hand made to order using traditional techniques & tools and, as such, there may be minor differences in the surface texture & finish between the items pictured here & subsequent pieces.
