Chunky rough cut steel drinks coaster & hand forged bottle opener combo A set consisting of a chunky blacksmith made drinks coaster & bottle opener. The coaster is hand cut from a slab of 6mm steel, is heated in the forge & stamped with my touchmark before being hot brushed & allowed to cool. Finished in a durable 2k clearcoat. Rubber pads protect the surface underneath. The bottle opener is hand forged over the anvil using the traditional techniques of punching, drifting & hand hammering to form the classic bottle opener shape. It is also stamped with my touch mark (and initials are added if required), It is then wire brushed, allowed to cool & finished in a clearcoat lacquer. Both the coasters & the bottle openers are available separately (please see my other items). Tip - cooling the the coaster in the fridge for a little while on those hotter days will help to keep that beer or soft drink nicely chilled for a little bit longer. Price includes 1 coaster, 1 bottle opener & delivery to a UK address. Delivery to outside of the UK is not free & will be calculated at checkout. Personalisation of the bottle opener is available at no extra cost. All of my items are hand made to order using traditional techniques & tools and, as such, there may be minor differences in the surface texture & finish between the items pictured here & subsequent pieces. Note: Although protected with a clear coat, it is always advisable to dry the coasters off with a paper towel after use & never allow them to be put away or stored if wet.
