Carpets from the Boujaad region in the Middle Atlas share with their Easter neighbors the same typical practice of Berber knotting but in association with the more aesthetically symmetrical knot, using soft wool. The result is a rug with more defined designs & shapes. Boujaad rugs are a unique work of art by a woman.
