This gorgeous Moroccan rug was made by a woman of the Berber tribes in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. This is a delicately Azilal rug which was made in the snowy mountains of the High Atlas where temperatures can get very low, that is why it is fluffy & warm, a paradise for your feet. Often, Berber women draw meaningful symbols on their rugs either to protect their family, bring happiness to their home or as a tribute to nature... Azilal rugs are made from virgin raw wool by alternating composed patterns of one single knotted line & one or two woven lines, according to a cultural ritual that mothers are passing down to daughters for generations. This one features the Eye pattern (the diamonds), the Eye is a symbol for protection against the evil eye. This rug is unique & is entirely handmade out of natural wool tinted thanks to natural organic dye which makes it very soft & easy-care. - Size: Please use the size chart to provide us with your size.
