Description
This Beautiful Snowman Ornament is the perfect Christmas Decoration. The snowman body is made from sycamore with a Paduak nose & milliput inlay for the buttons & eyes. The top hat has its own unique character with its quirky shape & made from exotic Lead wood. This product is handmade: the wood had been turned on a lathe, carved & sanded to give this finished product. This piece has several finishing stages. Firstly, a sealant is pushed into the grain, this stabilises the wood & gives strong, long-lasting protection. Secondly a fine grit mixture is applied including mineral oil, lemon oil, beeswax, rotten stone, & pumice, giving a velvety smooth finish. Finally, a layer of paste wax is applied to give a final layer of protection against fingerprints & water splashes. All finishes are food & toy safe. (Number 1 out of 9) Christmas Snowman Ornament
