A darling chippy painted child's chair, dating from the 1940's. The distressed appearance is authentic. The white paint has chipped away revealing blue underneath & the wood below that. The chair is VERY sturdy indeed. No movement. You can see raised woodgrain under the paint of the seat & it looks like oak. The seat height is 29 cm. There are some stains & marks to the paintwork.
