This unique original unframed cyanotype print was created using fresh plant, chemicals, sunshine & love. This beautiful, unique piece would look lovely framed & placed around your home to bring a little bit of nature indoors! Every one of my botanical cyanotypes is unique. There are no multiple editions. If you purchase one of my prints you can be sure you are in possession of one of a kind item. This is not a giclee print, it is an original cyanotype print! As shown in the photos, I made two prints (other one is listed as a separate item). You can purchase them individually for 60,00 or as a pair for 100,00. If you would like to purchase them as a pair, please message me, so we can arrange the details & discount. The print(s) will be shipped un-matted & unframed. Each print measures 16x24 cm (approximately 6x9 inches) & is made on archival cold press watercolour paper 300 g/m2. These prints are one of a kind monoprints, made according to camera less photography process from the 1800s, called cyanotype. The traditional cyanotype process usually results in simple white silhouettes on blue background. By using the additional chemicals & altered process I achieve varieties of colours in my prints. The final details in these prints are added with aquarelle paint. ~ Please Note ~ Cyanotype printing is an alternative photography process. Try not to expose the cyanotype to direct sunlight for long periods of time, as this may cause it to fade. However, if this happens put the print in the dark for few days. This should restore the original intensity of the colours. Due to the handmade nature of all of my items, there may be small imperfections. This shows that they are unique! The blue colour of the cyanotype may look slightly different to the colour shown on your computer or phone screen. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
