An unused original French mtis linen sheet with a blue embroidered border & matching monogram F R. I've had it laundered & starched. Never been used. There's a blue tinted patch at the bottom of the sheet as seen in the last photo. I believe it was done to test the colour. The fabric is 65% linen & 35% cotton, in an cru colour( soft beige). cru often occurs when the linen remains in its original colour, or un-dyed. Definitely made as part of a wedding trousseau. Unusually large sheet, measurements are 240 cm wide x 310 cm long. The fabric is good enough to be used as a curtain, with the embroidered border turned over the pole to form a pelmet.
