A vintage Moroccan rug made of wool. This is an old rug that made it through the years, to tell so many stories. It was made by local women in Morocco's Middle Atlas mountains. Exactly in Boujaad tribe. It has a vanished design in several colors. This rug will add a nostalgic vibe to your space. Handwoven by the local women, using natural wool. They do not stick to a specific design which gives them a bigger space to get creative; color & design-wise. They only stick to the concept of creating pure Amazighen rugs & keeping this art alive. Vintage rugs refer to rugs that are retro. These rugs were mostly woven around mid 20th century, specifically during the 70s, therefore; they hold a lot of nostalgic vibes in them. Moroccan rugs became popular in the West thanks to mid-century modern designers. Le Corbusier is one of the designers who combined the thick Amazigh pile with their own designs. Most of these rugs are Beni Ouarain rugs handwoven by local women, using different palette colors & different shapes & designs that were inspired by their own real-life stories.
