A contemporary Moroccan Kilim (flatwave) made of thread. It was handwoven by the female weavers in Morocco's High atlas mountains. Exactly in Zanafi tribe. These rugs are also handwoven by Imazighen women, using mostly high-quality sheep wool. They are made with very special techniques & designs. These rugs are Kilim (flatweave) which makes the exhibition of the hand-knotted lines more obvious. Most of them are made of mainly two colors patterns, & they have fringes on their vertical sides which is a unique touch. The best thing about these rugs is the fact that they are reversible, which means both sides can be used. The more these rugs got popular & in high demand, the Imazighen women got a bigger chance to get more creative to deliver the perfect piece; therefore, they added more patterns & colors to the original design.
