The carpets created spontaneously by the women of the Berber communities are the most original. BOUJAAD RUGS Boujaad rugs are hand woven pile rugs from a small region between the Middle Atlas. These rugs are all individually crafted by hand & may be slightly asymmetrical in their shape & pattern with some minor imperfections, They are created with the typical knotting techniques practiced by Berber tribes but with the knot being pulled tighter, the rugs require less wool.
