This wood wall or shelve decoration, was very much inspired from out traditional embroidered or painted patterns. You can find them on all our traditional clothes, specially blouses. We trust that small steps made by everybody, can make a difference in conserving our planet, so we use as much as we can, recycled wood. Except of its base, this piece was made only from recycled wood. There are many places in my country where the traditions are still kept by the old local people & i felt like making something simple, as they live, clean (witch i find very appropriate to use white color), & beautiful, as they all are. I chose green color because inspires nature, our oak, birch, & pine forests, & a red tone, because in out tradition, red is a popular color. This was made on a normal size base of plywood, of 40x60 cm (15,3 inch x 23.3 inch) but of course it can be made on a bigger base or smaller, & in this case the design can vary as the base allows us to play on it.
