Ani Ledodi V'edodi Li - I am for my beloved & my beloved is for me, is a popular Jewish proverb from Shir Hashirim, Song of Songs, written by King Solomon. King Solomon wrote this poem with the imagery of a couple's love as a metaphor for the relationship between G-d's & the Jewish people. Although we are commanded to have a deep love for G-d, & that his love for us is infinite, we still need to work on our relationship with the divine. in turn, reflecting on the deep love a couple has for each other inspires us to always continue working on our relationships. The original was painted by me in watercolor & acrylic paint for my wedding in 2012. Thank G-d, we never stop working on making our relationship better & growing more in love every day. If you are having trouble choosing, you cannot go wrong with the paper. Think about how you want the end product to hang: Paper prints are meant to be framed & well protected by easy to clean glass. Canvas prints can either be framed or stretched on wood by your local framer. A stretched canvas will hang on your wall as an original painting would. 2. Does the print come framed? Your print does not come framed. It comes rolled up in a tube for maximum protection. You can take both paper & canvas to your local framer or order a custom frame online. The size listed is the size of the actual image of art not including the border. Each print comes with an approximately 5 cm border on each side to allow for easy matting, framing, & stretching. Keep this in mind when buying a frame. For this reason, I highly recommend buying a frame after you receive your print.
