This is an amazingly beautiful hand embroidered tablecloth - the vibrancy is simply jaw droppingly astounding! Multi coloured hand cross & satin stitch anemone & pansies in each of the nine square panels are sewn with silk threads. The reverse is almost as beautiful as the front. Edged with deep handmade lace which also separates & joins the 9 panels that make this most wonderful piece. There are small age related marks as shown. Bought at an estate sale in Bakewell in the lane that leads to Chatsworth House! It is perfect.
