On offer is this lovely collectible vintage thermos. It's in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - extensive scuffing & scratching all over however (please refer to images) commensurate with age; notable light ware too which has exposed the base metal but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form, plain in design yet so stylish in appearance. It is of a more unusual form being shaped like a teapot complete with hinged lid. The interior has notably darkened with staining & ware. Marked on the base with instructions for using with both hot & cold liquids. American produced by Landers, Frary & Clark of New Britain, Connecticut, circa second / third quarter of the 20th century - "Stanley, It Will Not Break". It measures 16.5cm (6 & 1/2 inches) handle to spout end & 17.7cm (7 inches) in total height to the top of the lid finial. A lovely retro thermos pot ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
