On offer is this lovely collectible set of four asparagus tongs. They're in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - notable scuffs & scratches all over them commensurate with age & usage as well as a few small areas of light ware around a few of the grips exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone) but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the set. They're of traditional form, the arms beautifully decorated with the Kings pattern which stands out on display still. Unmarked for a maker, Sheffield produced, circa second quarter of the 20th century & most likely were produced for the restaurant / hotel trade. They measure 13.5cm (5 & 1/4 inches) in total length & are ready to be collected & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for a Royal Mail tracked & insured service.
