On offer is this truly lovely pair of antique fish servers. They're in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - notable light scuffs & scratches over them both commensurate with age as well as a small area of ware to the back of the blade (please refer to images) exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone) but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the duo. They're of traditional form, beautifully decorated with a floral scroll design. Both reverse sides are plain. The handles have been decorated with a striking floral leaf themed design which shows on both sides & display ever so well still. Unmarked for a maker, Sheffield produced, circa fourth quarter of the 19th century - both handles show rubbed Victorian lozenge marks. They measure 24cm (9 & 1/2 inches) & 32.5cm (12 & 3/4 inches) in length. A lovely serving duo ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
