On offer is this lovely cased pair of serving spoons. They're in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age as well as light ware to the edging of the gilded bowls exposing the silver plate but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the duo. They're of traditional form, the handles beautifully decorated with an elegant design which shows on both sides & feature a small vacant cartouche (top side). The bowls also show a shell back & retain their original gilded interior. Sheffield produced by Walker & Hall - both share the same date letter for 1897. Both handles also have a small Victorian lozenge stamp. They measure 22.5cm (8 & 3/4 inches) in length & come presented in their original fitted case which is also in good order throughout - notable scuffs all over the exterior however. The inside is also marked for Walker & Hall. A lovely duo ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
