On offer is this lovely elegant collectible four piece tea set. The four items - 1 x teapot, 1 x hot water pot & sugar & creamer are all in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - there are notable areas of ware however exposing the base Britannia metal (dark grey); notable light scuffs & scratches too commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the set. The set is of traditional form, each piece beautifully decorated with a faceted finish as well as bright cut inspired floral highlights which stand out on display still. The tea & water pots both retain their original wooden lid finial. All interiors are re-markedly clean still. Sheffield produced by the renowned Walker & Hall, circa early 20th century. To give an idea of size the teapot measures 24cm (9 & 1/2 inches) in length from handle to spout & 15cm (6 inches) in height to the top of the finial. A lovely tea service which despite the condition issues raised is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
