On offer is this lovely vintage 'double'/ long stool. It's in good condition overall, the oak frame has a lovely patina & grain still - notable scuffing & scratching however commensurate with age; the padding has notably become hard & rigid & the top has notably faded all over too but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form, the wooden oak body is plain in design yet elegant in appearance. The padded top has been beautifully decorated with a floral design which still displays well - despite the evident fading & discoloration. Supported by the original barley-twist style legs, circa Art Deco era, 1930's. This 'double' stool measures 63.5cm (25 inches) in outer length, by 26cm (10 & 1/4 inches) including the legs & 28.5cm (11 & 1/2 inches) in total height. A lovely example which despite the numerous condition issues raised is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
